Description

The Orthopaedic Division of the CPA is now offering its members the opportunity to discuss a case or a condition with an Orthopaedic Division instructor for FREE once a month. 


How it works:

There will be 2 categories for registrants: 
1.    Members who want to discuss a case or condition with the instructor
2.    Members who want to listen to the discussion.

The first 6 members who register in category 1 (discuss with the instructor) will be allotted 10 minutes each to discuss their case or condition with the instructor. These members are also welcome to listen to the other 5 cases or conditions during that hour.  

The members who want to listen (category 2) can ask questions via the chat box and the instructor may or may not have time to answer these questions.

Price:

  • Free for Orthopaedic Division Members 
  • $10 for CPA members (you must authenticate your CPA membership in order to see the CPA pricing tier)
  • $20 for Non-CPA Members

March’s Instructor: Anita Gross, PT

Areas of Interest - neck, headaches, TMJ in adults and paediatrics

Anita Gross is a clinician–scientist, educator, and orthopaedic manipulative physical therapist. She trained at the University of Toronto, Curtin University, and McMaster University, and is a Lifetime Member of CAMPT. She is an Associate Clinical Professor at McMaster and teaches within the Orthopaedic Division of the CPA. Her research focuses on adult and pediatric neck pain and TMJ disorders. She leads two international collaborative groups—the Cervical Overview Group and SPARK-MT (Spinal Paediatric Alliance for Research and Knowledge in Manual Therapy)—, has numerous peer‑reviewed publications and funded research projects, has been an invited to speak at international conferences, and has served on expert panels, including the IFOMPT Pediatric Task Force on Spinal Manipulation, TMJ Delphi consensus panel,  and the APTA Neck Pain Clinical Practice Guidelines update.
